Illuminated boat Procession Around October

- Held annually, this dazzling event on the mighty Mae khong River marks the end of the Ok
pansa ( Buddhist lent ) by the launching of elaborately adorned boats, each containing assorted offerings, adrift on the river
when night falls. Fertilities are future enhanced with a colorful street procession and cultural performances for everyone to enjoy.
Rap Bua Festival
Around October At Amphur Bang Phli Samut Prakan
Bang Phli is a district with an abundance of lotuses. The morning of 14th full moon night of October is the day before the end of
Buddhist Lent. Buddhists come here to pick the flowers for offerings to monks according to traditional.
The people of Bang Phli regard this great merit so they volunteer to keep the flowers for distribution to visitors
who row to the district to receive thievery year. This is also to provide facilitation and is a way to jointly mark merit. This tradition has become the " Rap Bua "

The long boat race of Lang Suan District of Chum Porn Province is unique. The winning boat is the winner due to a good
teamwork of oarsmen, steersman and coxswain. The steersmen must keep the boat straight so the
coxswain can grab the flag at the finish line. ( The bow is about 3.5 meters long and about 25 centimeters wide ). If
the coxswain misses the grab, succeeds but falls into the water or boat sinks before the stern passes the
Finnish line,
the team is disqualified.

Phee Ta Khon Festival

The Festival has done with origins from a well-known Buddhist tale , the colorful
and vibrant Phee Ta Khon procession features young man who dress up as spirits to accompany
a scared Buddha image and taunt villagers. Monks relate the tale of Lord Buddha 's last great in carnation before
