" FLOWER FESTIVAL " FLOWER FESTIVAL IS CELEBRATED IN CHIANG MAI . THE CELEBRATION IS HELD IN FEBRUARY WHEN THE WEATHER IS STILL COLD. CHIANG MAI IS VERY FAMOUS FOR ITS BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS. SITUATED IN THE NORTHERN PART OF COUNTRY,
CHIANG MAI HAS AN ADVANTAGE OVER OTHER PROVINCES IN THAT IT CAN GROW BEAUTIFUL FLOWER.
THE CELEBRATION LASTS THREE DAYS, ABOUT 3-7 .DURING THIS FESTIVAL THERE IS A PARADE OF FLORAL OR FLOWER-DECORATED CAR AND PRIZES ARE GIVEN TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CARS OF DIFFERENT CATEGORIES. THERE IS ALSO A BEAUTY QUEEN CONTEST DURING THIS FESTIVAL
