1.When you are entering a Thai House, or All Temples, it is customary to take your shoes off. This is not simply a religious custom but has practical implications. Also do not point your feet at anyone or use them to indicate something.
2.The Royal Family are held in extremely high regard by all Thai People and due respect is require. this also
apply to money or any other object bearing the King 's Image.
3.Any insult to the Buddhist religion Or Buddha icons or images can carry heavy penalties. Respect must be shown at all time and when visiting temples, appropriate clothing must be worn.
4. Export of Buddha image ( Except small, personal ones ) antique or works of art is forbidden with out permission.
5. A " wai " is when hands are put in front of the face as visitors are advised only to reply to wai rather than " lead the way". It is never proper to " wai " to servants or children.
6. When entering a temple you are requested to dress accordingly and singles
shorts are not acceptable.
7.Always observe extreme caution with your money and valuables. Such thing as your pass port and credit card should not be carried
extremely and all leading hotel provide secure safe system.
8. It is advisable not to drink water from tap water and water is cheaply and
readily available.
9. If travelling in taxi or Tuk Tuk is usual to settle the fare before you begin your journey.
10. Bo not accept offers of free trips or drinks from strangers.
